The University of Oxford has announced a collaboration agreement with the Connected Digital Economy Catapult.
As part of the agreement the University will work with the Digital Catapult, business and the public sector to collaborate on joint projects and activities.

The collaborative work will be co-ordinated at Oxford by the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) and its Oxford Digital Economy Collaboration Group (ODEC).

Initially the collaboration will focus on the security aspects of a project designed to support data sharing within industry, the Catapult’s Trusted Data Accelerator project, and will further be focussed on projects to develop approaches to big data analytics that will guard privacy and data protection in the use of personal & citizen data, city data, and health data.

The collaboration will explore opportunities for further work with industry in the areas where Oxford expertise will be of value.

If you are interested in collaborating with the Digital Catapult, or finding out how it might be able to help you or your organisation, please contact Bill Imlah, Internet Research and Collaboration Officer at the Oxford Internet Institute: bill.imlah@oii.ox.ac.uk
